Tua and Ustinov clash Saturday in New Zealand

Former heavyweight challenger David Tua (52-4-2, 43 KOs) will clash with WBO #15 Alexander Ustinov (28-1, 21 KO’s) over twelve rounds at the Claudelands Arena, Hamilton, New Zealand with the WBA Pan African title up for grabs. Tua is coming off a twelve round points loss to Monte Barrett in 2011. Ustinov, who is from Belarus, scored a eight round points win over Ivica Perkovic (19-19) in his most recent ring appearance in April. He holds wins over Denis Bakhtov, Kerston Manswell and Jason Gavern in 2012. Tua is 41 years of age and stands 5’9, while Ustinov is 36 years and is 6’7. The promoter is Duco Events Ltd. Televised on Main Event Pay-Per-View Television.
