Tua outweighs Ahunanya by 10 lbs

Longtime heavyweight contender David Tua (50-3-1, 43 KOs) weighed in at 239.75 pounds for his clash against Friday Ahunanya (24-5-1, 13 KOs) on Wednesday night at Trusts Stadium in Auckland New Zealand. Ahunanya scaled in at 229.5 pounds. It’s the 37-year-old Tua’s first fight since demolishing fellow New Zealander Shane Cameron in two rounds last October an all-Kiwi super fight.
In the co-feature, Israel “King Kong” Garcia (19-3, 11 KOs) weighed 260.25 pounds for his clash against Brett Smith (13-6-2, who weighed 227 pounds.
