Tua weighs 236.9, Ustinov scales in at 292.9

Legendary American broadcaster Colonel Bob Sheridan was the master of ceremonies at the weigh in on Friday for Saturday’s David Tua vs. Alexander Ustinov twelve round showdown for a WBA Regional title at the Claudelands Arena in Hamilton, New Zealand. The bout will be televised on a Main Event Pay-Per-View Television Network.

Tua weighed in at a svelte 236.9 while the 6’7 Ustinov was 292.9.

The officials for Saturday night’s big heavyweight clash are Referee Brad Vocale and judges Carl Zappia, Charlie Lucas and Carrick Belton. Supervisor is Brad Vocale.
