Fighnews would like to express our best wishes to young Perth boxing promoter Ty Colman from CDL Boxing Promotions as he gets ready to face the toughest challenge of his life as he fights cancer. “I am blessed to have such supportive friends and family,” Coleman said. “I thank you all for your phone calls and messages over the past couple of days it has given me the strength to walk in tall this morning and head-butt this cancer business right in the face!”
“Day 1: The Unknown? First Chemo session Done and Dusted… 6hrs attached to the drip was lengthy and tiring stint but family company quite often made me forget why I was here. I feel very humbled today by the messages of love and support I received and promise everyone I’m not going down without a fight! I’m feeling ok so far, tomorrow is the interesting day I been told but look forward to spending some of it with my competitive boxing family!”
“For now I’m out, I will see you all tomorrow. Punching on… Ty”
Ty Colman, at 26 years old, has been a determined boxing promoter putting on several great boxing events in Perth and has done an excellent job in helping the progress of professional boxing in Western Australia.
