UFC 148: Odds and ends

If you watched UFC 148, live or on Pay Per View, you can lay claim to being part of Zuffa, LLC’s always evolving history.

The event, which featured the highly anticipated rematch between Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen was the highest grossing event in the United States, earning a gate of $7 million.

The event, held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, also sold out with an attendance of 15,016.

Anderson Silva earned “Knockout of the Night” honors.

Tito Ortiz and Forrest Griffin earned the “Fight of the Night” award.

All three men pocketed an extra $75,000 for their performances.
