Cerrone and Melvin Guillard took home Fight of the Night for their exciting – albeit brief – slugfest. Guillard tagged Cerrone early in the first round that left “Cowboy” on wobbly legs. After surviving the ensuing Guillard onslaught, Cerrone stunned his former training partner with a head kick, then followed up with a punch that sent Guillard crashing to the mat. For his effort, Cerrone was also awarded Knockout of the Night.
Bermudez earned Submission of the Night for his first-round tapout of Tommy Hayden. “The Menace” weathered an early storm from Hayden to secure to secure the fight-ending guillotine choke.
All bonused fighters received $60,000 (with Cerrone earning $120,000) for their performances . . . Click here for video highlights
