Reed Harris, the UFC’s Vice President of Community Relations will deliver the Commencement Address at Fight Promoter University VIII, this coming June 5-8 in Costa Mesa, California it was announced today by FPU founder Roy Englebrecht. Harris will deliver his address on Friday, June 8th at 11:30am just prior to the FPU students receiving their MBA (Master of Boxing Administation) certificates as part of the commencement ceremonies.
“Reed will be the perfect commencement speaker for our students as they get ready to graduate and head out to start their own promotions company,” said Englebrecht. “No one knows the fight promotions business any better than Reed, as he had to do it all as the co-founder of the WEC back in 2001. But like we teach at FPU, if you work hard, with integrity and honesty, you create something that someone else wants to buy, and that is what happened with Reed and the WEC.”
Reed Harris is just one of 18 guest speakers that will be featured over the four day FPU VIII session that will be available online with FPU PPV or as an attending student for the four day session.
