2012 Olympic Heavyweight Gold Medalist Oleksandr Usyk (4-0, 4 KOs) scored a dominant fourth round stoppage of Argentinian veteran Cesar David “El Ruso” Crenz (21-9, 13 KOs) in front of a packed house on Saturday night at the Sport Palace in Odessa, Ukraine. Southpaw Usyk controlled the action from the opening bell, dropping Crenz in the third with a massive left hook to the chin, then drilling him back to the canvas in the fourth with a heavy-handed left to the body ending the scheduled eight rounder at the 2:12 mark of the stanza.
Said Alexander Krassyuk of K2 Promotions Ukraine, “This was another terrific win for Oleksandr in front of a sold out house at the Sport Palace. The support he’s received from media and fans has been overwhelming and we look forward to announcing his next fight in the near future.”
