Four-division world champion Jorge “Travieso” Arce (62-7-2, 47 KOs) scored a fifth round KO over Aldimar Silva (19-7, 10 KOs) in a featherweight clash on Saturday night at the Domo de la Macroplaza in Nogales, Sonora, Mexico. Arce dropped Silva in rounds three and five. The bout was waved off after Arce’s follow up barrage at :41 of the fifth round.
Unbeaten middleweight Jose “Bolivita” Uzcategui (22-0, 18 KOs) scored a sixth round knockout over former world title challenger and local favorite David “The Destroyer” Lopez (41-14-1, 23 KOs). Uzcategui simply broke down “The Destroyer,” ending the bout by bludgeoning Lopez to the canvas. Time was 2:31.
