Valdez set for pro debut

Two-time Mexican Olympian Oscar Valdez is scheduled for six rounds in his pro debut in his hometown of Hermosillo, Mexico on Saturday night. Valdez will take on Angel Prado, 1-1, of Ensenada, Mexico. Valdez asked to box six rounds in his first professional bout.

In he main event, former world champion Ulises “Archie” Solis (34-2-3, 21 KOs) returns against Jesus Iribe (16-7-5, 10 KOs). The card tales place Saturday night at the Centro de Usos Múltiples (CUM) in Hermosillo, Mexico.

Valdez-Prado will be aired live on Top at approximately 9:30 PM Pacific. The two will box following the Solis-Iribe main event.
