Powerful undefeated former world 130lb champion Edwin Valero, Top Rank’s explosive knockout artist (24-0, 24 KOs) from Venezuela is all set for his upcoming main event championship fight for the vacant WBC Interim world lightweight title against Antonio Pitalua on Golden Boy Promotions’ “Lightweight Lightning” Pay Per View on April 4 in Austin, Texas. Valero is currently preparing for the bout in Southern California with trainer Robert Alcazar, whom many will remember trained Oscar De La Hoya early in his career.
