Former two-division world champion Israel “Magnifico” Vazquez (43-4, 31 KOs) may be returning to the ring on October 10th. Vazquez has not fought since the third fight of his trilogy in March 2008 with former two division champion Rafael Marquez. He suffered a detached retina in that bout but won by decision. Vazquez has since been medically cleared by the California State Athletic Commission to return to the ring. No opponent has officially been announced yet but current NABF super bantamweight champion Al Seeger (28-4, 22 KOs) is being considered.
