On Thursday evening, WBO jr. featherweight champion Wilfredo Vazquez Jr, and his wife Jackie went to the Orlando Magic game. They met up with the mascot and Dwight “Superman” Howard. When Wilfredo spotted him across the court, he yelled out, “That’s Superman!”
After the game, Wilfredo went to the gym and warmed up against 12-year-old Justin Roman, son of JJ at JJ’s Boxing Gym.

Open to the public: Friday’s world championship weigh-in will take place at 5PM at the Silver Spurs Arena. Promoter Tuto Zabala, Jr. has promised that a special surprise will take place at the weigh-in ceremony.
On Saturday, Zabala Jr/All Star Boxing will return to the city that has hosted many of the company’s boxing shows during the past ten years that have filled the Kissimmee Civic Center on many occasions. Vazquez Jr. will make the second defense of his title when he meets his toughest opponent so far in Ivan “Choko” Hernandez of Ensenada, Mexico in a bout scheduled for 12 rounds.
Tickets for Vazquez Jr. vs. Hernandez are priced at $202, $102, $52 and $27, are available at all Ticketmaster outlets, the Silver Spurs Arena box office and on-line at Ticketmaster.com.
Vazquez, Jr. vs. Hernandez will be broadcast live on-pay-per-view, distributed by Integrated Sports in the US and in Puerto Rico by Pay Per View Connection beginning at 9 PM ET/6PM PT at a suggested retail price of $34.95.
