Wilfredo Vázquez Jr. (17-0-1, 14 KOs) of Bayamón, Puerto Rico easily made the 30 day maximum weight limit for his upcoming February 27th bout with fellow unbeaten and former WBO super flyweight champion Marvin Sonsona (14-0-1, 12 KOs) of the Philippines. Vázquez Jr. weighed in at 129.5 which was well below the 140.3 allowed. 122 pounds will be the maximum weight limit allowed when Vázquez Jr. and Sonsona battle for the vacant WBO junior featherweight title. Sonsona who is training in San Francisco weighed in at 130 pounds.
