Vazquez-Marquez Update

A much anticipated clash between Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. and Rafael Marquez fight is not finalized yet. All Star Boxing’s Tuto Zabala, Jr. went to Puerto Rico and met with PR Best Boxing Vice President Peter Rivera and negotiations are ongoing. “A deal has not been reached yet,” Zabala informed Fightnes.com. “It’s our intention to face [Marquez] and it’s a great fight but we are still working on it. We are working hard to bring the fight August 4 to the Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum in Bayamon also we are also still in negotiations with Zanfer Promotions (Marquez Promoter). If everything goes well an official announcement will made once a deal is reached.”
