HBO added a third televised bout to its October 27 Boxing After Dark card at Turning Stone Resort Casino. The tripleheader now includes two title fights and a main event featuring the number one contender for Floyd Mayweather, Jr.’s WBC welterweight title, Thomas Dulorme.

In a nationally-televised fight announced this morning, IBF lightweight champion Miguel “Titere” Vazquez (31-3-0, 13 KOs) of Guadalajara, Mexico takes on challenger Marvin Quintero (25-3-0, 21 KOs) of Tijuana, Mexico.

The third bout of the triple header features WBO NABO Junior Welterweight Champion Karim Mayfield (16-0-1, 10 KOs) of San Francisco defending his title against challenger Mauricio Herrera (18-2-0, 7 KOs) of Lake Elsinore, California.

In the main event, Dulorme, (16-0-0, 12 KOs) of Puerto Rico, puts his number one WBC welterweight contender ranking on the line against Luis Carlos Abregu (33-1-0, 27 KOs) of Argentina.

For 18 years, Fightnews.com® has delivered daily boxing news to fight fans around the globe. From the beginning, we have always kept Fightnews free to our readers and relied on advertiser support. Anyway, the Miami Herald, The Guardian, and Wikipedia among others have been using the “crowdfunding” revenue model, so we thought we’d test it too.

Please consider helping out. You’re not obligated to, but even a $1 pledge would really help. And if we reach our goal, we plan to upgrade our server and maybe even nuke the ads altogether. Wouldn’t that be nice?
