WBC#22 cruiserweight Dominic Vea (11-1, 9 KOs) will clash with New Zealand’s Oscar Siale (10-1, 4 KOs) on Friday with the OPBF title up for grabs at the Blacktown RSL club, Blacktown, NSW, Australia. Vea is in great shape after several solid sparring sessions recently with former WBA light heavyweight champion Danny Green who is challenging for the vacant IBO cruiserweight crown in Biloxi, Missisippipi on Saturday. Vea captured the OPBF cruiserweight title in 2007 when he stopped Ryosuke Takahashi in eight rounds in Tokyo, Japan.
On the undercard, former amateur star Joel Brunker (9-0, 5 KOs) will challenge Ernie Gonzalez Jr (5-3-1, 3 KOs) for the vacant Australian featherweight crown in a scheduled ten round bout.
In a junior middleweight, eight round bout, world class Robert Medley (25-2, 17 KOs) will be in action against Lee Oti (10-9-1, 5 KOs) of New Zealand.
Former world rated lightweight KO artist Ranee Ganoy (26-11-2, 22 KOs) will meet Indonesian lightweight champion Roy Manihuruk (8-2-2) over six.
Also Australian 130 pound champion Will Tomlinson (7-0-1, 7 KOs) will punch it out over six rounds with tough Thai boxer Thongthai Rajanondh (16-11, 4 KOs).
