WBA and IBO Middleweight champion Gennady “GGG” Golovkin, his trainer Abel Sanchez and K2 Promotions managing director Tom Loeffler fielded answers from the press after Golovkin’s fifth round demolition of European champion Grzegorz Proksa Saturday night at Turning Stone Casino in Verona, New York on HBO’s Boxing After Dark. Team Golovkin discussed the fight strategy, his regard for Proksa and plans for future matchups in and out of the middleweight division. Hard Luck challenger Proksa did not attend the conference as he was taken to the local hospital for treatment observation.
