Video: Riot breaks out after IBF title match

A group of Argentinian boxing fans attacked the Filipino fighter Joel Casimero in his corner after the end of his IBF light flyweight world championship fight with Argentinian former champ Luis Lazarte on Friday night at Club Once Unidos, Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Casimiro had just become IBF interim champion after beating the local hero by TKO in round ten when the referee Eddie Claudio stopped the bout and immediately a barrage of bottles and chairs flew into the ring and a group of thugs savagely attacked Casimero and his team. The boxer ended up hiding under the ring apron in an ugly and shameful scene.
