In a shocking turn of events, four-time world title challenger Luis Alberto Lazarte (43-9-1, 18 KOs) has decided not to challenge IBF light flyweight champion Brian Viloria (25-2, 15 KOs). The bout was scheduled to take place at the Waterfront Hotel, in Cebu City, Cebu, Philippines. The 38-year-old Lazarte has decided to wait for another opportunity. No replacement has been named as of yet to challenge Viloria.
