WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (43-2, 40 KOs) and his trainer Fritz Sdunek have begun preparing for the February 18th fight at the Olympiahalle, Munich, Germany against Derek Chisora (15-2, 9 KOs). The first week of training was held at the “Concha Zaspa” Olympic base in Kiev, Ukraine. During this time there are a number of political events Vitali is involved with. The champion held an open training session for media where he showed footwork, hit the bag and jumped rope.
“Vitali is already gaining the necessary physical condition,” said Sdunek. “Honestly, I do not envy Derek Chisora.”
“90% of my time is in politics,” stated Vitali. “This sport in my life has become less important, but it doesn’t interfere, and even helps. In the next week we go’ll to training camp in the Austrian Alps.”
