Wanheng, Tiger retain WBC regional titles

WBC#2 strawweight Wanheng Meenayothin (28-0, 9 KOs) successfully retained his WBC international 105lb title as he stopped Filipino Ruel Pusta (8-2-2, 2 KOs) on Friday at the Toyota Office of Kanchaburi Province, Thailand. The local source reported that the Thai fighter mostly controlled the show, dropping the Filipino with a right straight in round four. Finally, the show was finished when the champion displayed one-sided attack which forced referee to stop the bout in round ten.

In other action, WBA #10 bantam Panomroonglek Kaiyanghadaogym (37-2,20KOs) scored a second round TKO over Indonesian Jemmy Gobel (17-21-5,13KOs). And Petchwanchai Sor Visetkit (8-4,4KOs) won a six round unanimous decision over Amnart Kiatpracha. This event was promoted by Piyarat Vachirarattanawong of Diamond Boxing Promotion.
Meanwhile, on Wednesday at Piboonwitthayalai School in Lopburi, Thailand, WBC #27 bantam Tiger Tor Buamas (14-0, 11 KOs) won a 119-109, 117-111, 119-109 unanimous decision over former PABA title holder Richard Garcia (26-16-1, 8 KOs) to retain his WBC Asia interim 118lb title. Also, WBC #33 superfeather Pharanpetch Tor Buamas (11-0,8 KOs) won a six round unanimous decision over Suor Carryboy (reportedly 18-11-1). Former WBC Female 105lb champion Samson Tor Buamas (29-3, 14 KOs) won a six round unanimous decision over Saosukhothai Sor Kor Peera. And ABCO #15 lightfly Saengthong Tor Buamas stopped Thepyothin Sithdabnid in round three.
