Ward, Miranda public workout!

No. 2-Ranked 2004 Olympic Games Gold Medalist and Oakland native Andre Ward and hard-hitting Top ten contender Edison Miranda will participate in a free public open workout on Tuesday in Oakland, California, as they wind down final preparations for their eagerly awaited showdown next Saturday, May 16, at the Oracle Arena. The 12-round fight for Ward’s NABF and NABO super middleweight titles will be the featured bout on a special Saturday primetime edition of ShoBox: The New Generation, Live on SHOWTIME (9 p.m. ET/PT, delayed on the west coast). The Plaza is located between the Oracle Arena and Oakland-Alameda Coliseum. Miranda will work out at 4:30PM PT and Ward will work out at 5:30PM.
