Waters defeats Comer

World rated 154-pounder Ryan Waters (20-2-2, 12 KOs) dominated former Australian champion Gary Comer (20-9-1, 7 KOs) over twelve rounds with the WBO Oriental and WBO Asia Pacific titles up for grabs at the Cronulla leagues club, Sydney, NSW, Australia on Friday. WBO#7 Waters boxed aggressively in all the rounds of untidy bout. Scores Charlie Lucas 118-111, Kevin Hogan 119-111, Leanne Jones 118-110. Waters is trained by former Australian champion David Birchell who also trains world super middleweight contender Sakio Bika. In support, light heavyweight Michael Van Nimwegen (3-0, 2 KOs) stopped Daniel Daley (1-2, 1 KO) in four rounds. Promoter Left Hook Promotions.
