WBO #7 Ryan Waters (19-2-2, 12 KOs) scored an eight round knockout over Elvin Marbun (13-9-3, 6 KOs) at the Cronulla Leagues club in Cronulla, Sydney, NSW, Australia on Saturday. Marbun currently holds the Indonesian 154 pound title. In Waters previous start he was held to a draw in the sixth round by Tui Leveni (who had him on the canvas) on the Danny Green vs Roy Jones undercard in December 2009.

IBF #7 126 pounder Billy Dib (25-1, 13 KOs) was impressive in stopping Carlos Lopez (20-6, 7 KOs) of Indonesia in six rounds. Power body shots dropped Lopez and he was on the canvas for several minutes. Lopez defeated Sonny Manakane but lost to world rated Poonsawat Kratingdaengym in 2009. Dib is the former IBO 130 pound title holder and is chasing a shot at the IBF title. “I want to fight the best in the world,” said Dib. “I will be world champion again soon.”
Australian 168 pound champion Michael Bolling (11-0, 9 KOs) retained the championship when Joel Bourke retired at the conclusion of round seven. Bourke holds a win over Daniel Porky Lovett but lost to Sakio Bika.
