WBA #12 McCulloch stops Simamora in five

WBA #12 super middleweight Ben McCulloch (12-0, 9 KOs) stopped Jonatan Simamora (23-24-5, 8 KOs) in round five of a scheduled twelve round PABA championship bout at the Sawtell RSL club, Sawtell, NSW, Australia on Saturday. The highly regarded McCullouch is chief sparring partner for WBC super middleweight champion Sakio Bika and former IBF/WBA/IBO middleweight champion Daniel Geale.

In other action cruiserweight Daniel Baff (15-2-1, 12 KOs) outscored Ayitey Powers (18-21-1, 14 KOs) over twelve rounds of PABA and WBA Pan African championship bout. Scores Tony Kettlewell 119-109, Ian Batty 119-108, Damien Casey 120-108. Powers was born in Ghana in 1980 and has been in the ring with outstanding boxers Nathan Cleverly, Tony Bellew and Blake Caparello.

Super bantamweight Terry TJ Doherty (5-0,4KOs) stopped James Mokoginta (24-12-2, 13 KOs) in round nine of scheduled twelve round PABA championship bout. Doherty was born in Dublin, Ireland but now based in Sydney, Australia.
