Everything is ready for the WBA’s 24th KO Drugs Festival to be held this Saturday at the Roberto Duran Arena with WBA three world championship fights. The 13-bout card also features six WBA regional titles. In the main event, Alberto “Metralleta” Mosquera (16-0-1, 12 KOs) faces Brunet Zamora (21-0-1, 10 KOs) for the WBA interim super lightweight world title. Former world champion Miguel “Aguacerito” Acosta (29-4-3, 23 KOs) meets Richard April (16-2-1, 8 KOs) for the WBA interim lightweight world title. And Ogleidis Suarez (15-2-1, 7 KOs) takes on Katy Wilson (14-0, 9 KOs) for the WBA female featherweight interim world title. The event involves fighters from Panama, Italy, Venezuela, Mexico, Colombia, France, USA, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Belarus, Jamaica and Puerto Rico. The WBA will make a donation to the Friends of the Child Foundation.
