On Wednesday the WBC delivered a life insurance check for $25,000 to the father of fallen warrior Marco Antonio Nazareth, who died after his fight with Omar Chavez on July 18 in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The WBC has a life insurance policy that covers all boxers on a fight card when there is a WBC world title bout involved. With the money, Nazareth’s father wants to create a foundation for those who lost their sons and daughters.
