Big honor for Universum Box-Promotion. On the day before the groundbreaking “Universum Champions Night” at the famous Nürburgring Racetrack, the World Boxing Council (WBC) recognized Klaus-Peter Kohl as “Promoter of the Year.” The WBC also recognized unbeaten female featherweight champion Ina Menzer as “Female Boxer of the Year” for her great success in the ring. WBC Executive Director Mauricio Sulaiman made the award presentations during Friday’s official weigh-in at the Nürburgring.
