In the main event – scheduled for 12 rounds from the Yñares Sports Arena in Pasig City, Philippines – WBC International super flyweight champion Silvester Lopez, 13-2-1 with 9 knockouts, of Parañaque City, Philippines, will make his second defense of the title against former WBC interim strawweight world champion Wandee Singwancha, 63-11-1 with 15 knockouts, of Udon Thani, Thailand.
Lopez, only 22 years old, has a nine-fight winning streak, seven by knockout, which includes winning the WBC International title in April, 2009, and making his first title defense seven months later in November. He is ranked No. 5 by the WBC at 115 pounds (52.163kg).
Singwancha, 30 years old, has won six fights in a row, three by knockout. He won the WBC interim strawweight title in July, 2006, but lost the title on the scales when he did not make weight before his first defense three months later. Currently ranked No. 23 by the WBC at 115 pounds, he is also a former WBC International flyweight champion.
In the co-featured bout – also scheduled for 12 rounds – Sooksan Caichan Saenmuangloie, 3-2-1 with 0 knockouts, of Loei, Thailand, will make his second defense of the WBC International flyweight title against Ryan Bito, 12-5-3 with 3 knockouts, of Manila, Philippines. The 24 year-old Sooksan is a former Northeastern Regional Muay Thai champion with a record of 54-4-2 with 21 knockouts in Muay Thai fights. Bito, also 24 years old, is undefeated – 4-0-2 – in his last six fights.
In the third 12-rounder on the webcast – for the vacant WBC International light flyweight title – Warlito Parrenas, 12-4 with 10 knockouts, of Bacolod City, Philippines, will battle fellow-Filipino Jonathan Tacunig, 6-0-1 with 4 knockouts.
