Boxing News twinbill tonight will present a boxing doubleheader, free of charge, tonight beginning at 10PM ET/7PM PT from Sindicato de Trabajadores del Metro in Mexico City as Gamaliel “Platano” Diaz, 33-9-2 with 16 knockouts, of Nezahualcóyotl, México, will make his seventh defense of the WBC Caribbean Boxing Federation (CABOFE) super featherweight title against Adriel Juzaino, 18-9-2 with 8 knockouts, of Huatabampo, Sonora, scheduled for 12 rounds. Then at 11:30PM ET/8:30PM PT, former WBC bantamweight world champion Fernando “Cochulito” Montiel, 46-3-2 with 36 knockouts, of Los Mochis, Sinaloa, will fight Victor Terrazas, 31-2-1 with 18 knockouts, of Guadalajara, Jalisco, for the vacant WBC Silver bantamweight championship. This scheduled 12-round bout will headline the card at Estadio de Centenario in Los Mochis.

Montiel is one of only five Mexicans who have won world titles in three different weight divisions. He has come back with two wins, both by knockout, since losing the WBC bantamweight world title in February, 2011.

Terrezas, a former Mexican (FECOMBOX) super bantamweight and WBC Central American Boxing Federation (FECARBOX) featherweight champion, has won six fights in a row, five by knockout.
