WBO announces Burns-Beltran officials

World Boxing Organization (WBO) President Francisco “Paco” Valcarcel announced today the referees and judges who will work this Saturday, September, 7, in the world title bout to be held at the Scottish Exhibition Centre in Glasgow, Scotland where WBO lightweight champion Ricky Burns (36-2, 11 KOs), will defend his belt for the fourth time against the sixth ranked Raymundo Beltran (28-6, 17 KOs), in a Matchroom Boxing presentation. The third man in the ring will be Chisora-Scott “quick count” referee Phil Edwards from the United Kingdom. The judges for the Burns-Beltran bout are Andre Van Grootenbruel from Belgium, Carlos Ortiz Jr. from United States and Richie Davis from United Kingdom. The WBO supervisor for this fight will be John Handelaar.
