WBO announces officials

WBO president Francisco “Paco” Valcarcel announced today the referees and judges who will work this Saturday, June 2, in the 105 and 108 pounds world title bouts to be held in Mexico and Philippines.

For WBO minimumweight champion Moises Fuentes (14-1, 6 KOs) first defense against #11 ranked Julio Cesar Felix (17-3, 7 KOs), the referee will be Russell Mora, from United States. The judges are Fabricio Lopez and Victor Salomon, from Mexico, and Raul Caiz Jr., from United States. WBO supervisor for this bout will be Rafael Lopez Santos.

For the fight between jr flyweight champion Donnie Nietes (33-1-3, 16 KOs) and #7 ranked Felipe Salguero (16-2-1, 9 KOs) the referee will be Raul Caiz Sr., from United States. The judges for the Nietes-Salguero bout, are Salven Lagumbay, Muhammad Rois and Sawaeng Thaweekoon. WBO supervisor for this fight will be Leon Panoncillo Jr.
