WBO donates academic scholarships to top students

The World Boxing Organization and their WBO Kids Drug Free Program led by its President Francisco “Paco” Valcarcel donated $5,000.00 academic scholarships to the top 5 students of the Kissimmee High School in Kissimmee, Florida. The event held at the Osceola County School Board and marks the 5th This year students with better academic achievements were Andres Vidal, Jessica Santana, Jennifer Santana, Rickenjee Bellvue and Shantell Mitchell. Also present to hand out the checks was WBO Ratings Chairman Luis Perez and Ruben De Jesus Director of Operations of All Star Boxing, Inc. The City of Kissimmee has become a boxing capital in Florida with the popular series of Boxeo Telemundo running successfully at the Civic Center since 2001 including numerous WBO Titles luring promoters like Don King and Bob Arum who have brought shows to the area with Showtime and HBO Networks respectively. consecutive year the organization makes the donations.
