WBO president Francisco “Paco” Valcarcel has announced the officials who will work the two WBO world championship fights on Saturday, October 6.
For the minimumweight (105 pounds) title bout between champion Moises Fuentes and former two time titlist Ivan “Iron Boy” Calderon, to be held at the Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, the referee will be Luis Pabon. Judges are Patricia Morse-Jarman, Thomas Miller and Raul ieves. WBO supervisor is Luis Perez.
For the junior middleweight (154 pounds) title fight between Zaurbek Baysangurov and Lukas Konecny at the Sport Palace in Kiev, Ukraine, the referee will be Genaro “Gino” Rodriguez. The judges for this bout are Mickey Vann, Matteo Montella D’Airola and Lahcen Oumghar. WBO supervisor this fight between Baysangurov and Konecny is John Duggan.
