Saturday’s fight in Hartford, Connecticut, between “Lightning” Harry Joe Yorgey, (22-0-1, 10 KOs), of Bridgeport, Pennsylvania, and Alfredo “Perro” Angulo, (16-1, 13 KOs), of Mexicali, B.C., Mexico, has been approved for the WBO interim junior middleweight world title. No announcement has been made the WBO as to whether the current WBO Interim champion Paul “The Punisher” Williams will be stripped or if the WBO will recognize two interim belt holders in the division.
