This afternoon in France, both WBA bantamweight champion Anselmo Moreno and his challenger Mahyar Monshipou made weight with Moonshipur weighing 118 against Moreno’s 117.75. The bout will take place on Saturday in Parc des expositions, Poitiers, Vienne, France. Monshipour made the 118lb limit on the first try while “Chemito” was 20 grams over. Earlier on the hotel scale he weighed 118, had a light breakfast and rested all the day. After a bathroom run, he came back .25lb under the limit.
