Boxing, BBQ and music!

Promoter Bob Duffy of Ring Promotions returns to the Plattduetsche Park Restaurant in Franklin Square, NY this Saturday with a eight-bout fight card featuring heavyweight prospect Tor Hamer (6-0, 5 KOs) battling Marcus Dickerson (4-1-1, 2 KOs) in the main event. The card will be held outdoors but will be moved indoors if it rains. Barbecued food and cigars are available for purchase, and a live band will perform following the main event. “Great food, cigars, boxing and live music,” said Duffy. “It’s a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.” This will be Duffy’s fifth fight card at Plattduetsche. The doors open at 3pm and the first bout begins at 4pm. Tickets are $50 (ringside) or $30 and can be purchased at the Plattduetsche Park Restaurant (516-354-3131).
