After two somewhat even rounds, Ricardo Williams Jr. (15-2, 8 KOs) brutally knocked out Harrison Cuello (18-9-2, 14 KOs) in third round of a welterweight contest Saturday at the U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio. Williams dropped Cuello three times in the third round, twice with crushing left hands to the jaw with the final knockdown at the 1:50 mark. Huge win for the former 2000 Olympic Silver medalist. This is his fifth consecutive win since his return in June 2008 after a three year layoff.

Rashad Holloway (10-1, 5 KOs) won a unanimous decision over Doel Carrasquillo (12-11-1, 10 KOs) in a junior middleweight six-rounder. It was an outstanding battle which was won on the inside by the fast, short punches of Holloway. Carrasquillo was a step slower but he was very game. The competitive battle kept the crowd of 4137 on their feet cheering throughout. The scores were 78-74, 78-74 and 77-75.

———-
Heavyweights David Long (6-1-1, 3 KOs) and Kelsey Arnold (1-1-2, 1 KO) fought to a draw in an entertaining four rounder. The scores were 40-36, 37-39 and 38-38.
