Cruiserweight Garrett Wilson (13-5-1, 7 KOs) scored a spectacular twelfth round KO over Andres Taylor (20-2-1, 7 KOs) on Saturday night at Bally’s Event Cente in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Wilson dropped Taylor in rounds one, eleven and twelve, the final time for the count at the 2:50 mark. Wilson, who retained his USBA title and added the vacant NABF belt, previously battled to a draw with Taylor in September 2010 and this was the much anticipated rematch. Wilson led 106-101, 106-101 and 105-102 at the time of the KO.
In the co-feature, a third round knockdown propelled lightweight Christopher Finley (5-4, 4 KOs) to an upset six-round unanimous decision over Osnel Charles (9-3, 1 KO). Scores were 59-53, 58-54, 58-54.
