World title tripleheader in Panama Saturday

Boxing returns to the Megapolis Convention Center in the Hard Rock Hotel in Panama City, Panama, Saturday with three world-championship bouts. In the main event, WBA bantamweight “super champion” Anselmo “Chemito” Moreno (33-2-1, 12 KOs) makes the eleventh defense of his 118lb belt against southpaw William Urina (24-2, 20 KOs) in a 12-round battle. Also, Oscar Escandon (22-0, 15 KOs) fights for the WBA interim super bantamweight title against former world champion Nehomar Cermeno (21-5-1, 13 KOs), and WBA female featherweight champion Ogleidis Suarez (18-2-1, 8 KOs) makes the first defense of her title in a rematch against Liliana “La Tigresa” Palmera (21-10-3, 15 KOs). The event is promoted by Sampson Boxing and Best Boxing.
