Zanfer Boxing has a tremendous world title twinbill on tap for September 15 at the Palenque del Recinto de la Feria in León, Guanajuato, Mexico. The event will feature Mexican stars Jorge “Travieso” Arce, Humberto “Zorrita” Soto, Ulises “Archie” Solis and Omar Chavez in separate bouts. Arce (52-5-1, 40 KOs) will face South African Simphiwe Nongqayi (15-0, 6 KOs) for the vacant IBF junior flyweight championship formerly held by Vic Darchinyan. WBC super featherweight champion Humberto “Zorrita” Soto (48-7-2, 31 KOs) will defend his title against Colombian Aristides “Papa” Smith (15-0-1, 8 KOs). Ulises “Archie” Solis (28-2-2, 20 KOs) returns for the first time since losing his IBF light flyweight title to Brian Viloria in April when he takes on veteran Gilberto Keb Baas (28-19-3, 16 KOs). Also “Son of the Legend” Omar Chavez (17-0-1, 13 KOs) is back in action against Jack Davis.
