Top Rank today won a purse bid to promote the WBA super welterweight championship defense of Daniel Santos against mandatory challenger Yuri Foreman at the WBA office in Panama City, Panama. Top Rank’s Carl Moretti presented the winning (and only) bid of $165,000. Possible dates and sites are November 14th on the Pacquiao-Cotto super card in Las Vegas, or December 5th in either New York City or Atlantic City.
