Ibeth “La Roca” Zamora (8-2, 2 KOs) returned with a spectacular victory at 1:02 of the second round over Patricia Hernandez (11-4-2, 3 KOs) and thus won the WBC female youth miniumweight world title on Thursday night at the Jose Cuervo Salon, Distrito Federal in Mexico. In the first round, Hernandez received a bill for protection. The referee Gelasio Perez stopped the match when Zamora dominated from the start and withstood attacks from “La Patito” Hernandez. ”We are ready to defend our titles in Mexico or in any country. I love this sport and I want to do my best,” said Zamora.
