Zanfer inks “Chinito” Yung

Zanfer Promotions has signed hot super bantamweight prospect Adrian Alberto “Chinito” Yung. The 17-year-old from the boxing hotbed of Los Mochis, Sinaloa has started his fledgling career with five straight knockout victories. “We’re excited by the potential of this young man who has left us impressed since the first moment we saw him boxing,” said Zanfer President Fernando Beltran. “At Zanfer, we believe in young Mexicans and we support them to achieve great heights.”

Gregory Yung, the boxer’s father had to gave his approval for the signing of Alberto since he’s still a minor and he’s pleased and excited by the opportunity. “Alberto is a noble, disciplined boy who’s passionate about boxing. We believe that with Zanfer he can excel in his career,” said the elder Yung.

Adrian shined on the amateur stage where he had 70 victories against just five defeats and won three consecutive “Torch” awards, given to the best in Sinaloa.
