Zbik still trying to collect purse from April fight

Former WBC middleweight champion Sebastian Zbik has filed a lawsuit against promoter Universum Box-Promotion in hopes of collecting on his unpaid purse from his world title fight against Felix Sturm in April. Zbik says he is still owed $245,000 and has terminated his contract with Universum with immediate effect. The lawsuit makes allegations of suspected embezzlement and misappropriation of funds. Zbik has also make a request to open bankruptcy proceedings against Universum.
