Veteran middleweight Fernando Zuniga (27-9, 20 KOs) returns to action January 23rd at the Quiet Cannon in Montebello, California. The bout will be his first since his upset of prospect Carlos De Leon Jr. nearly a year ago (February 2, 2008). Zuniga has been sidelined since due to elbow surgery but is said to be back to 100 percent. He will face unpredictable journeyman Daniel Stanislavejevic aka ‘Danny Zee’ (8-14-3, 4 KOs) in an eight round 164 pound catchweight main event. The durable Stanislavejevic’s record is very deceiving as he’s fought and competed well against some world class opposition including decision losses to world ranked contenders Marco Antonio Rubio and Alfredo Angulo.
