Super Middleweight gatekeeper Fernando Zuniga won a lopsided eight round unanimous decision over veteran Danny Stanislavjevic at the Quiet Cannon in Montebello, CA. Zuniga looked rusty from the outset of the fight and was cut across his left eye in the second round. However, Zuniga (28-9, 20 KOs) found his rhythm and wore down the game Stanislavjevic (8-15-3, 4 KOs). All three judges scored the bout 80-72 in favor of Zuniga.

Also featherweight Jesus Hernandez (8-0, 2 KOs) won a six round unanimous decision over Manuel Sarabia. Hernandez was the busier and more accurate fighter throughout the fight. Sarabia (16-28-9, 10 KOs) had his moments in the latter half of the fight, but could not overcome Hernandez’ cleaner and more effective punches. All three judges scored the bout 60-54 in favor of Hernandez. All Star Boxing Promotions presented the seven-bout “Battle of the Rising Stars” card.
