Rowland Rumbling with Tock!

The hard-working Grand Rapids promotional pairing of Gerald Evans and his 1World Productions, along with Paladin Promotions returns January 16 for another exciting edition of their long-running professional boxing series at the DeltaPlex.

The 10-round middleweight main event will feature streaking Troy Rowland, 15-1 (4), vs. Holden, Missouri's Terry Tock, 13-5-1 (6). In his last fight, to the delight of his thousands of raucous fans, Rowland overcame an injured hand to outpoint former world title challenger Andrew Council.

Tock, who won all but one of his first fourteen fights is coming off a comeback win and will be looking to play spoiler against the hometown matinee idol Rowland.

The main supporting bout will be an exciting rematch between lightweights Harold Cutts, 5-2-1 (1), of Grand Rapids and Frankie O' Neal, 3-0-1, of Detroit. O'Neal took the first encounter with his effective aggression, but Cutts has shown much improvement of late.

In a power puncher's duel between aggressive Michigan lightweights, Grand Rapids native Ramon Guevara, 4-2 (4), will look to get back on the winning track against Pete Cantu, 4-3 (4), of Waterford.

An exciting welterweight scrap features George Sanchez 1-1 (1) of Three Rivers, MI against Grand Rapids' Pernell Gates 1-0 (1). Several other Michigan prospects are also scheduled to appear against opponents that are yet to be determined, including: welterweight Robert Jones Jr., 4-0 (2) of Troy, lightweight Reggie Nash, 6-7 (2), Grand Rapids, the ever-exciting cruiserweight Rocky Smith, 6-2 (5), of Muskegon and middleweight Chris Grays, 4-3 (2), of Traverse City.
