Italian middleweight star Domenico Spada (27-1, 13 KOs) won a one-sided unanimous decision over Polish warrior Mariusz Cendrowski (16-1-1, 6 KOs) Tuesday night at The Casinò in Campione d’Italia, Italy. With the win ‘Vulcano’ Spada defended his WBC International Title at 160lbs for the second time. Spada came forward in his usual aggressive style and displayed his superior ringcraft with a quick jab work to gain the control of the clash and put the early rounds in the bank, despite missing a lot of his shots. Cendrowski tried to re-enter in the fight but he did not have the tools to counter Spada’s pressure and was cautioned two times by referee Guido Cavalleri.

Spada then remained in a comfortable spot for the remainder of the bout, and was able to win the rest of the rounds with ease, but for a fighter of his level fans were waiting for something more. At the conclusion, scores were 120-107, 120-106 and 118-108

Topping the undercard of the Salvatore and Cristian Cherchi/OPI 2000-promoted show, light welterweight world contender Tunisian Naoufel Ben Rabah (26-3, 13 KOs) showed excellent boxing skills and outpointed decent Mounir Guebbas (10-10, 6 KOs) of France over six rounds. Ben Rabah picked up the pace of the fight with a great array of punches and, as the fight wore on, the brave Guebbas was knocked down two times and was able to survive the punishement only thanks to his great heart and experience.

Also in action, former British champion, super middleweight Tony Dodson (23-4-1, 12 KOs) outpointed decent French fighter Mounir Sahli (8-12, 5 KOs) over six chaotic rounds of boxing and in the opening fight of the evening Albanian warrior Laze Suat (9-2-1, 3 KOs) outpointed over six rounds Mohamed Nouari (7-8-1, 1 KOs) of France in a featherweight contest.

The card was televised live in 54 nations by Eurosport.
